One of the first things to do in any project in Toronto is the inevitable TPZ (Tree Protection Zone) that is required in order for permit issuance.
In theory, the TPZ projects the tree's root system, preventing building materials from being stacked and compressing the roots. In practice, if the tree is too large, the size of fence they usually call for tends to be a little unrealistic. In the case of this project, the TPZ basically covers the entire front yard!
